Requirements
Must:
- Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI
- At least 7 years of extensive experience in Project Management
- Minimum of 4 years leading large-scale, complex IT projects
- Proven track record in developing and enhancing Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) methodologies
- Experience in centralizing Project Management services for enterprise-level change, risk, and issue management
- Proficient in refining Project Management practices through defined processes, procedures, and best practices
- Expertise in portfolio-level risk management with the ability to provide executive-level visibility across departmental impacts
- In-depth technical knowledge of Project Management principles, methods, and tools utilized throughout the System Development Lifecycle
Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with executive leadership to ensure project portfolios align with departmental objectives and federal funding guidelines
- Oversee and direct large-scale, complex IT projects, ensuring they meet goals and timelines
- Develop and enhance EPMO methodologies for effective project portfolio prioritization and cross-program alignment
- Centralize Project Management services to effectively manage changes, risks, and issues at the enterprise level in collaboration with Executive Stakeholders
- Define and implement standardized processes and best practices to advance Project Management disciplines
- Manage portfolio-level risk and provide executive-level insights into impacts across the organization
