Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Management Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a network engineer or architect position within a data center environment
- At least 5 years of experience with Cisco routers for edge connectivity
- Over 5 years of expertise with firewall technologies, particularly 2-3 years with FortiGate and Forti Manager
- Strong skills in Routing and Switching, with extensive experience in dynamic routing protocols like BGP and OSPF
- Proven experience leading large and complex projects
- Knowledge of collaborating with service providers for circuit provisioning and troubleshooting
- Proficient in problem analysis and resolution at both strategic and functional levels
- Experience working successfully with cross-functional teams to address and resolve intricate network issues
- Adaptability to respond to changing environments and expectations, with an openness to innovative ideas and practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Solid work ethic and integrity
Responsibilities
- Ensure that operations teams receive high-quality training and documentation for effective first-level support on incidents and service requests in multiple data center settings
- Manage multiple tasks and projects throughout the day, balancing workflow with deadlines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues
- Maintain composure and professionalism under pressure
Description

We are currently looking for a Data Center Network Engineer with substantial hands-on experience in customer network environments, including technologies such as dedicated circuits, Cisco routers, and FortiGate firewalls. This is an onsite role based in Atlanta, GA, available on a contract basis for 6 months.
