Requirements
Must:
- Proven analytical skills to comprehend project and product documentation
- Familiarity with essential cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, ISO, etc., and their critical requirements
- Ability to interpret solution architectures and design documentation effectively
- Competence in applying key control, policy, design, and pattern requirements to assess compliance
- Proficient report-writing skills, particularly for technical assessments of products/applications
- Strong interpersonal abilities with a comfort level in interviewing architects, product leads, IT engineers, developers, and analysts
Responsibilities
- Assessing the security engineering aspects of various technology components
- Overseeing the integration of cybersecurity features, including authentication and encryption, while managing all relevant security modifications throughout their lifecycle
- Providing direct assistance to business units and technology leaders regarding system security
- Compiling relevant security information into a centralized risk register
- Engaging in the assessment and improvement of processes and procedures to boost customer service efficiency and effectiveness
