Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of pertinent experience, preferably within a startup or tech-focused organization.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in FPGA/Embedded Development.
- In-depth knowledge of digital logic, computer architecture, and electronics.
- Familiarity with the Xilinx Vivado/Vitis development toolset.
- Experience in FPGA simulation, integration, and verification processes.
- Background in developing hybrid SOC and soft-microprocessor architectures.
- Proficient in C/C++ programming, with a focus on real-time embedded systems.
- Capability to bring up and troubleshoot mixed-signal electronic assemblies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to operate independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with device-level communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, Ethernet, and Serial.
- Knowledge of firmware best practices, covering design patterns, SOLID principles, and performance enhancements.
- Background in agile development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement FPGA/embedded systems for various applications.
- Conduct simulation, integration, and validation of FPGA solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and refine hybrid SOC and soft-microprocessor architectures.
- Program in C/C++ for real-time embedded environments.
- Assist in the bring-up and debugging of electronic assembly projects.
- Apply device communication protocols to ensure seamless hardware integration.
- Employ firmware best practices to enhance system performance and maintainability.
- Participate in agile development cycles, adapting to changes and iterating on product designs as required.
