Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Masters preferred)
- In-depth understanding of communication theory and algorithm design related to signal processing (including channel estimation, equalization, beamforming, timing recovery, and error correction)
- Familiarity with existing wireless communication protocols such as 5G, LTE, WCDMA, GSM, 802.11 standards, and Bluetooth/Bluetooth Low Energy
- Proficiency in developing signal processing and wireless communication systems with practical experience in lab testing
- Competence in algorithm development, modeling, and simulation using Matlab, Python, and/or C/C++
- Knowledge of High Level Synthesis (HLS), silicon prototyping, FPGA development, and emulation systems
- Experience in bringing up real systems on silicon, FPGA, or SoC and using lab test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer)
- Ability to work autonomously and quickly adapt to new technologies and tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
- Willingness to work extended hours during critical events
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement algorithms for wireless connectivity between Bluetooth devices and satellites
- Engage in all phases of modeling, system design, and wireless communication implementation
- Lead projects from concept through execution with a sense of urgency and effectiveness
- Apply first principles of engineering to derive complex system designs
- Communicate technical information clearly to team members and stakeholders
- Identify challenges and craft innovative, reliable solutions to meet the evolving needs of an early-stage company
- Run design reviews and contribute to evaluations of parallel systems
