Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Masters degree or CPA certification is preferred.
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Corporate Accountant or in a similar position within the Accounting and Finance sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant regulations.
- Strong expertise in accounting and financial processes, including budgeting, financial closing, and reporting.
- Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
- Advanced mathematical and analytical competencies.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership qualities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Manage all facets of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing functions.
- Supervise the management and reporting of fixed assets.
- Maintain precise records of financial transactions and ensure entries are accurately recorded in the ledger.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Review and process vendor payments, ensuring timely and correct payments.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP principles.
- Participate in financial audits and collaborate closely with auditors.
- Coordinate with other departments to enhance financial procedures, processes, and systems.
