Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in a validation engineering position
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python and C++
- Strong background in working with BIOS systems
- In-depth knowledge of validation principles, methodologies, and techniques
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex system issues
- Meticulous attention to detail to identify and document defects and errors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as needed
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines
- Self-driven and eager to learn, with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement validation plans, test scripts, and test cases aligned with product specifications
- Utilize programming languages like Python and C++ to streamline testing and validation functions
- Collaborate with BIOS systems to ensure hardware components operate correctly
- Detect, analyze, and document defects, discrepancies, and errors found during validation
- Work alongside cross-functional teams, including design, development, and quality assurance, to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Continuously enhance validation methodologies and strategies to improve product quality and reliability
- Provide technical mentorship and training to junior validation engineers and team members
- Prepare and present detailed validation reports to stakeholders, summarizing findings and suggesting corrective actions
