Requirements
Must:
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior IT infrastructure position, preferably in the Technology Services sector.
- Demonstrated experience in crafting and executing IT infrastructure strategies.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure components, including hardware, software, networks, and security measures.
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong strategic analysis and problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical ideas to non-technical individuals.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant discipline preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, or similar credentials are advantageous.
- Proven experience in effectively managing IT infrastructure budgets and resources.
- Robust knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection laws.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute a strategic IT infrastructure plan that aligns with our business goals.
- Supervise the management of all IT infrastructure elements including hardware, software, networks, and security systems.
- Ensure all technology operations function seamlessly, reducing downtime and boosting productivity across the organization.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing support and guidance to facilitate their success.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to create new technology initiatives that further our strategic objectives.
- Manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value in decisions and initiatives.
- Keep abreast of the latest technological trends and advancements, implementing new solutions that may enhance our company.
- Guarantee that our data and information are secure and safeguarded against cyber threats.
Description
We are a private organization comprised of multiple companies across various industries, offering a range of exciting projects and exceptional benefits. As we look to fill the role of Permanent VP of IT Infrastructure, we embrace a hybrid work model (3 days in the office, 2 days remote). This position is vital in managing our technology infrastructure and ensuring our systems operate smoothly and efficiently, working closely with our Chief Technology Officer and other senior leaders to align our IT strategy with the overarching business goals.
