Requirements
Must:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
- Licensed to practice in California with a minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate litigation
- Strong analytical, communication, and advocacy skills
- Proficient drafting and writing capabilities
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently
- Detail-oriented with a strong dedication to client service
- Proven capability to work autonomously
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development
- Commitment to community engagement and relationship building
- Previous experience in a remote working environment
Responsibilities
- Represent clients throughout all stages of real estate litigation, including case assessments, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeals
- Develop litigation strategies and lead negotiations to achieve favorable dispute resolutions
- Conduct thorough research and offer legal advice regarding complex real estate laws and transactions
- Draft and review legal documentation related to real estate transactions and litigation
- Actively engage in the firms business development initiatives
- Build and nurture new client relationships, generate business leads, and support the firms overall revenue growth by strategically engaging with stakeholders and referral sources
