Requirements
Must:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in product or UX design, preferably in developer tools, connectivity, or data-intensive platforms.
- Strong systems thinking capabilities with the ability to simplify complex workflows into user-friendly designs.
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively with engineers and product managers, especially regarding APIs, latency, and data model limitations.
- Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and utilizing interaction design tools (e.g., Figma, FigJam).
- Familiarity with usability testing, heuristic evaluation, and iterative design methods driven by user feedback.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate design rationale and trade-offs clearly.
- Detail-oriented and adaptable to working in a high-complexity, early-stage startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of UX flows and interaction design for critical product elements such as developer onboarding, web dashboards, and diagnostic tools.
- Convert technical requirements and limitations into clear, user-friendly experiences for both developers and business clients.
- Work in close collaboration with product managers and engineers to quickly scope and prototype new features.
- Define and refine behavioral patterns (e.g., states, errors, loading) that ensure product consistency and reliability.
- Collaborate with the Product Designer on the evolution of the design system to maintain visual and interaction clarity throughout the application, dashboard, and documentation.
- Conduct user validation and internal usability reviews, incorporating insights into design improvements.
- Contribute to the development of documentation, mockups, and design specifications to assist engineering in precise project delivery.
