Requirements
Must:
- Former US Navy Submarine Fire Control Technician or Sonar Technician experience is mandatory.
- Familiarity with the AN/BYG-1 combat control system or Contact Management Fire Control Display as a Sonar Technician.
- Previous formal testing experience in a DoD production delivery environment.
- Ability to collaborate proactively with both local and remote test team members.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in testing within an Agile development setting.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools.
- Foundational knowledge of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
Responsibilities
- Conduct subsystem and system-of-systems testing at our facility and at various locations.
- Collaborate within an Agile environment with engineers across the program to validate our deliverables for the Navy.
- Evaluate how our software adheres to system, functional, and performance standards.
- Set up test bays and troubleshoot any anomalies that arise.
- Communicate issues proactively and work with engineers from other subsystems to identify and address problems collaboratively.
