Requirements
Must:
- A 4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant construction engineering experience
- Advanced understanding of construction project execution and industry practices
- In-depth knowledge of the relationships between various functional units
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven experience in managing a diverse team
Responsibilities
- Assist the onsite project team in planning, developing, coordinating, and managing construction engineering activities
- Ensure compliance of project-engineering activities with company and contract standards
- Develop and oversee project engineering procedures and control documents
- Represent the company during meetings with A/E, clients, and project management
- Provide technical support for construction planning, design interpretation, and method application
- Resolve design conflicts and conduct constructability reviews
- Interface with all onsite departments to ensure quality and resolve issues
- Aid the project team in negotiating contract terms for major orders and subcontracts
- Support in managing scope, pricing, and execution of change orders
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by supervisors
