Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in supporting VoIP technologies
- Proven track record of involvement in extensive voice system migration projects
- At least 3 years of experience specifically migrating from Avaya to modern VoIP systems
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams VoIP and Cisco Unified Communications
- Familiarity with integrating Webex Contact Center within enterprise environments
- Solid understanding of SIP and VoIP protocols
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals including IP addressing, routing, and security
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and in collaboration with diverse teams in a public-sector environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for Avaya-to-VoIP migration efforts across various departments
- Design, configure, and validate VoIP solutions, including call routing and dial plans
- Set up voicemail features and caller ID systems
- Support configuration of Microsoft Teams, Cisco UC, and Webex communications tools
- Assist with Webex Contact Center integrations with Salesforce and ServiceNow
- Conduct site assessments and inventory existing voice endpoints
- Oversee phone placement planning and preparation documentation
- Validate VoIP system readiness, focusing on network needs
- Lead cutover activities and effectively troubleshoot issues post-migration
- Prepare technical documentation and deliver training to staff
- Work with stakeholders to assess needs and propose optimal VoIP solutions
- Manage change effectively to reduce disruption during transitions
