Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5-8+ years of experience in sales engineering, pre-sales consulting, or solution architecture.
- Strong technical expertise in databases, data replication, data integration, or data warehousing.
- A proven history of supporting intricate enterprise sales cycles.
- Exceptional skills in communication, presentation, and client interaction.
- Hands-on experience with Java programming (preferred).
- Familiarity with Docker for establishing and managing containerized environments (preferred).
- Experience using Canva or similar software for creating and organizing pre-sales technical documents (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales representatives to grasp client needs and deliver customized technical solutions.
- Lead product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical presentations for potential clients.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions that align with our offerings.
- Prepare and present RFP/RFI submissions, technical documents, and solution architecture proposals.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the SymmetricDS platform, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies as a subject matter expert.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and customer success teams to ensure smooth transitions and client satisfaction.
- Mentor junior sales engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing and process enhancement initiatives.
- Support post-sales transition to implementation teams to facilitate seamless client onboarding and solution adoption.
