Requirements
Must:
- Experience in supporting sales or application of electronic sensors or industrial instrumentation
- Background interacting with OEM customers in mobile equipment, off-highway machinery, or industrial automation
- Capability to assess technical requirements and recommend suitable sensor technologies
- Prior experience with RFQs, product selection, or technical proposals for engineered components
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities when liaising with customers and internal teams
- Bachelors degree in engineering preferred (Electrical Engineering or Computer Science ideal); an associate degree with relevant experience considered
- Approximately 5 years of industry experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead product management and market development initiatives for electronic sensors used in mobile equipment and industrial machinery
- Formulate product strategy and market positioning for electronic sensor technologies
- Identify and cultivate strategic OEM accounts within mobile equipment and industrial machinery sectors
- Assist sales teams during customer engagements and technical solution discussions
- Assess customer requirements and RFQs to recommend appropriate sensor technologies
- Create technical proposals and contribute to pricing strategy formulation
- Deliver voice-of-customer insights to internal development teams for new product initiatives
- Collaborate with global electronics teams on product and market strategies
- Educate application engineers, distributors, and field sales teams about sensor technologies
- Support product marketing efforts including literature development and trade shows
- Oversee product-related projects including launches and customer initiatives
