Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma required
- Associates Degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years in IT support
- At least 2 years of experience in Service Desk Support
- Availability for 2nd and 3rd shifts
- Experience in a call center environment handling over 30 tickets daily
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Capability to triage, track, and monitor ticket progress according to SLA
- Willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Active Directory and software installation
- Experience with remote support tools like GoToAssist and SCCM
- Capacity to conduct in-house training for software applications
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach
Responsibilities
- Provide first-class technical support to clients
- Assist end users at Keck Medicine of USC hospitals and clinics
- Handle issues related to clinical application software, operating systems, and business productivity tools
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to identify the source of user problems
- Create and update user accounts within Active Directory and other systems
- Perform software installations and maintain PCs
- Diagnose and resolve application and system issues swiftly
- Manage communication regarding planned and unplanned system outages
- Document and create tickets using the Footprints ticketing system
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate leadership
- Collaborate with IT team members to tackle system challenges effectively
- Recommend improvements to processes within IT services
- Train and mentor junior IT staff as required
