Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and production machinery
- Familiarity with various types of production equipment, such as meat grinders, flakers, dicers, vacuum pack machines, and more
- Ability to identify and solve mechanical problems by analyzing equipment in operation
- Skills in performing scheduled preventive maintenance and lubricating machinery
- Competence in electrical system diagnostics and repairs for production equipment
- Capacity to replace defective parts, including belts, bearings, and motors as needed
- Understanding of safety policies and procedures related to equipment maintenance
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production machines and facilities as well as conduct preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
- Install, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment by completing necessary preventive maintenance tasks
- Locate sources of problems in machinery and dismantle equipment to replace defective parts
- Inspect and measure instruments to determine changes in part requirements
- Diagnose and repair issues with malfunctioning production and plant equipment
- Schedule and perform regular preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Lubricate equipment as required to ensure optimal functioning
- Repair and troubleshoot electrical systems related to production equipment throughout the plant
