Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Over 5 years of professional experience in software development, particularly with Python, PostGreSQL, and AWS
- Strong knowledge of FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy
- Proven track record as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in software development
- Significant experience in conducting peer reviews and leading software development teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- Well-informed about the latest trends and technologies in the industry
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions utilizing FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy
- Apply Python development skills to create, sustain, and enhance our software applications
- Manage and manipulate databases using PostGreSQL to fulfill business needs
- Utilize AWS for the management of cloud-based resources and services
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on software engineering principles and technologies, offering mentorship to junior team members
- Conduct comprehensive peer reviews to maintain code quality and consistency
- Lead a team of software engineers, promoting a collaborative environment while driving the team towards achieving project objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to outline, design, and deliver new features
- Continuously research, assess, and adopt new technologies to enhance development efficiency
