Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in civil, structural, or architectural engineering
- Minimum of 4 years relevant management experience overseeing civil/structural teams
- At least 8 years of experience in Civil/Structural engineering or 5 years with a Masters degree
- Familiarity with the 10CFR50.59 process
- Experience in steel, concrete, and anchorage design, with a strong preference for seismic design knowledge
- Proficient understanding of civil and structural design codes and standards such as ACI 318 and AISC 360
- Bonus: Knowledge of civil and structural design codes specific to nuclear safety-related structures
- Bonus: Professional Engineer registration in the State of Wisconsin
Responsibilities
- Direct a team of civil and structural engineers, including external consultants and the contracted Engineer of Record design firm
- Oversee the design of structural steel, connections, and anchorage for various frameworks, including foundations, platforms, and supports
- Conduct analysis on structures for static and dynamic loads, taking into account seismic, wind, tornado, and impact forces as necessary
