Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Over 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, ideally in a startup setting, with proficiency in Go or Rust, Python, Solid.js, Tauri, and AI
- Proven track record in debugging and enhancing existing software systems
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities to inspire and guide a team
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with strategic and critical thinking skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in conveying complex technical concepts clearly
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure work environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and handling work-related stress
- Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and professional integrity
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex software issues, providing effective solutions
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop corresponding technical solutions
- Participate in the design, development, and enhancement of new software systems and improvements to current systems
- Offer technical support and mentorship to junior engineers to foster their growth
- Ensure reliability, efficiency, and high performance of software and systems
- Stay informed on industry trends and innovations, integrating new technologies into our systems as appropriate
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and identify potential problems
- Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment
