Requirements
Must:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Washington, DC, Illinois, or New York Bar in good standing
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in patent and/or trade secret litigation
- Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or computer science
- Registration to practice before the USPTO is strongly preferred
- Advanced science or technical degree is a plus
- Relevant industry experience and computer programming skills are beneficial
- Excellent writing, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proven ability in technical analysis
Responsibilities
- Engage actively in patent and trade secret litigation cases
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to handle complex legal matters
- Assume immediate responsibilities in high-stakes cases
- Provide practical and strategic legal advice to clients
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and motions
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the IP practice group
- Maintain effective communication with clients and team members
