Requirements
Must:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation
- Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload
- Excellent skills in legal research and writing
- Strong negotiation and advocacy capabilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- High ethical standards and professional integrity
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software
Responsibilities
- Oversee all stages of civil litigation from initiation to trial, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing pre-trial motions and briefs
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients regarding potential litigation risks and strategies
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy formulation
- Collaborate with our team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure efficient case management
- Stay informed on relevant laws, regulations, and legal developments
- Cultivate client relationships through regular updates and meeting their needs
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients as necessary
