Requirements
Must:
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with progressive experience across various security domains
- Proven ability to lead technical teams while actively contributing to deliverables
- Strong familiarity with at least three of the following: SIEM architecture and migration, SOAR/automation design, detection engineering, threat hunting, SOC operations, MDR
- Working knowledge of security program development, cyber risk frameworks, and compliance standards
- Experience with major security platforms such as CrowdStrike, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto, or Chronicle
- Comprehensive understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewall architecture, segmentation) and cloud security
- Proven track record in managing client relationships and increasing service revenue within accounts
- Comfort operating in a service-oriented environment with utilization expectations
- Excellent communication skills capable of conveying complex technical ideas to both executive and technical audiences
- Quick learner who excels in uncertain situations and can adapt to new technologies or fields
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end service delivery outcomes for assigned accounts, ensuring quality, scope compliance, and client satisfaction
- Act as a Tier 4 Hypercare Engineer handling service interruption escalations and bridging gaps during vendor support issues
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for key customers, fostering trusted relationships to enhance retention and growth
- Manage both internal and external technical resources to deliver remarkable customer and service results
- Identify and pursue opportunities for service revenue growth within existing accounts through consultative interactions
- Provide the team with expert problem-solving abilities and innovative approaches to existing challenges, often involving architectural redesigns
- Directly contribute to billable work while maintaining a significant utilization target
- Design and implement security solutions including SIEM deployment and migration, SOAR automation, SOC operations, MDR, and custom detection engineering
- Create and execute threat hunting methodologies while developing tailored detection content suited to customer environments and threat models
- Advise and implement security program strategies including risk frameworks, maturity assessments, and roadmap development
- Support SaaS security platform implementations such as CrowdStrike, Sentinel, Splunk, or Chronicle
- Stay updated on AI-driven security capabilities and emerging cyber risk trends, providing practical guidance to clients
- Contribute to the formulation and enhancement of service offerings, converting technical capabilities into repeatable, marketable engagements
- Offer insights for go-to-market strategies based on frontline delivery experiences and client feedback
- Assist in establishing and evolving delivery methodologies, playbooks, and quality standards
