Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Nursing, Education, or Psychology is preferred
- Masters degree is a plus
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in a hospital or patient-related environment
- Positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable attitude towards diverse interactions
- Proven track record in sales and healthcare is strongly preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred; fluency in Spanish is a significant advantage
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet patient needs
- Must successfully complete hospital credentialing, including vaccinations and drug testing
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main liaison between patients and our organization, ensuring a positive experience
- Develop and foster relationships with patients and key hospital staff
- Clearly communicate program details and requirements to patients and their families
- Advocate for patients to navigate the enrollment process in the HIPP Program
- Assist high-cost, medically complex Medicaid beneficiaries in utilizing Medicaid benefits for health insurance
- Be present onsite most days to address patient inquiries and provide support
