Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in senior or architectural positions
- Proficiency in Spanish (both written and spoken) preferred for collaboration with the development team
- Extensive knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Kafka, Kubernetes, Lambda, S3)
- Competence in programming languages such as Java (Apache Camel), React Native, Python, C++, and Snowflake administration
- Familiarity with NoSQL, RDS, Elasticsearch, and Timestream
- Strong grasp of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile practices
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional) is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Direct AI/ML projects, implementing intelligent applications like predictive maintenance and document processing to improve platform functionality
- Establish and maintain the technical strategy, ensuring it aligns with our architecture and long-term digital transformation goals
- Manage the administration of key platforms including Bitbucket, AWS, and Snowflake, safeguarding their operational integrity and performance
- Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance by actively engaging in audit processes relating to financial and operational reporting
- Mentor junior engineers through code evaluations, technical guidance, and the endorsement of best engineering practices
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) development team to create unified solutions
