Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in a Quality Control Inspector role within the Engineering sector
- Proven expertise with the AS9100 Quality Management System
- In-depth understanding of quality control methods, statistical analysis, and process enhancement techniques
- Strong technical abilities, including the capacity to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Skilled in utilizing various inspection tools and equipment
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying issues and executing effective solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively within a team and engage with diverse stakeholders
- Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in a dynamic environment
- Certification as a Quality Inspector (CQI) or Quality Engineer (CQE) is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections of all engineering products and processes to guarantee adherence to AS9100 standards
- Assess engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation for precision and completeness
- Employ a range of inspection tools and equipment for measuring and testing products, documenting data for future analysis
- Detect non-conformities and initiate corrective actions, closely coordinating with engineering and production teams to resolve quality concerns
- Offer training and support to other team members on quality control practices and standards
- Engage in internal and external audits, ensuring all processes and documentation meet AS9100 compliance
- Create and execute quality control procedures and process upgrades to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Prepare and deliver quality reports to management, emphasizing trends, challenges, and recommendations
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to meet quality goals and ensure client satisfaction
