Requirements
Must:
- Hands-on experience with Delta Controls Building Automation Systems, including troubleshooting, commissioning, and service.
- Proficient in working in commercial, industrial, and mission-critical environments.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, low-voltage wiring, sensors, and field devices.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, sequences of operation, and BAS schematics.
- Self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally.
Responsibilities
- Execute service, repair, and troubleshooting on building automation systems, particularly focusing on Delta Controls hardware and software.
- Identify and resolve issues related to controllers, I/O, sensors, networks, and field devices.
- Assist in startup, testing, and commissioning processes for BAS systems.
- Respond to service calls, conduct preventative maintenance, and ensure optimal functioning of systems.
- Engage with customers onsite to address issues, provide explanations, and suggest solutions.
- Help with the configuration, programming modifications, and optimization of systems as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of service reports, documentation, and parts inventories.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and fellow technicians to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Comply with safety and regulatory standards on all assignments.
