Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Game Development, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Test Engineer position or a similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, and Java.
- Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, Unix, and Linux.
- Strong background in mathematical testing and statistics.
- Previous experience in the gaming industry with a solid understanding of gaming regulations.
- Proven leadership abilities and a commitment to achieving results.
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with a methodical testing approach.
- Experience collaborating with mathematicians to understand complex models.
- Knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and practices.
- Ability to craft clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
- A genuine passion for gaming and technology.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement test plans to ensure all objectives are accomplished.
- Develop and oversee test scripts to evaluate functionality, reliability, performance, and overall product quality.
- Detect and resolve defects throughout the production process.
- Work closely with engineers and product teams during the design phase to comprehend product scope and establish appropriate testing strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting an atmosphere of ongoing learning and growth.
- Verify compliance of all gaming software and systems with relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with mathematicians to validate the implementation of mathematical models in our games.
- Employ statistical tools to analyze data sets, focusing on trends and patterns for diagnostic and predictive analytics.
