Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Over 5 years of experience in software development with expertise in Java and Kubernetes
- Demonstrated experience with APIs, SQL, DevOps, Terraform, Distributed System Development, and Spring
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a systematic approach to critical thinking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven track record in leading and mentoring junior engineers
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and education
- Positive outlook, enthusiasm for technology, and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy complex software solutions utilizing Java and Kubernetes
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of APIs and services
- Collaborate closely with team members to architect and develop robust, scalable solutions for clients
- Perform data manipulation and analysis using SQL, while working alongside our database team to enhance performance
- Apply your DevOps expertise to refine our CI/CD pipeline and support our infrastructure as code efforts using Terraform
- Engage in the design and development of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Utilize the Spring framework to construct enterprise-grade applications
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather and clarify requirements, translating them into both functional and non-functional specifications
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high standards of quality and shared knowledge
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous enhancement of our software development methodologies
