Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, ideally within the manufacturing sector
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP and relevant financial regulations
- Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively
- Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines
- Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed financial decisions
Responsibilities
- Supervise the creation and assessment of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with GAAP
- Execute month-end closing activities, which include account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations derived from financial data
- Ensure adherence to all internal controls and policies, along with external regulations
- Work in tandem with various departments to enhance processes, boost operational effectiveness, and meet corporate goals
- Leverage SAP software to manage and interpret financial data
- Offer financial support and advice to the manufacturing team, focusing on cost management and profitability analysis
- Engage in special projects and perform ad-hoc financial analyses as needed
