Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in a machine shop environment; prior CNC machining experience is advantageous
- Strong understanding of quality systems and AS9100D standards
- Proficient in using common measuring tools and inspection methods
- Excellent skills in documentation and communication
- Detail-oriented with a dedication to high-quality outcomes
Responsibilities
- Lead and uphold QMS processes in accordance with AS9100D regulations
- Act as the primary liaison for internal audits, non-conformance reporting, and corrective measures
- Collaborate with machinists and production teams to guarantee parts meet quality and customer specifications
- Utilize measurement instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges) to ensure part compliance
- Prepare and manage quality documentation and reports
- Advocate for continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department
