Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, ideally in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in a reliability engineering position within a manufacturing setting.
- Deep understanding of reliability concepts and methodologies.
- Proficient in SAP software for maintenance management tasks.
- Experience in performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective measures.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with great attention to detail.
- Strong skills in project management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of thriving in a team environment and leading cross-departmental collaborations.
- Proven track record in training and mentoring peers.
- Certification as a Reliability Professional (CRP) or Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute reliability strategies to enhance operational uptime.
- Apply predictive and preventive maintenance techniques to boost equipment reliability.
- Work alongside maintenance and operational teams to minimize unexpected downtime, optimize planned downtimes, and improve overall equipment productivity.
- Conduct analyses to identify root causes of equipment failures and carry out corrective actions to avert recurrence.
- Spearhead reliability enhancement projects and initiatives.
- Create and update reliability metrics and reports for management oversight.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians regarding best practices in reliability.
- Engage in the design and installation processes for new equipment and systems, ensuring adherence to reliability standards.
- Utilize SAP software for maintenance scheduling, planning, and inventory oversight.
