Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Over 5 years of experience in RF systems design, preferably for space or satellite applications
- Practical knowledge in designing and evaluating antenna systems across various frequency bands, including simulation, prototyping, testing, and validation to meet rigorous performance, size, and environmental criteria
- Strong grasp of RF/microwave theory, link budgets, and communications architectures
- Proficiency with RF modeling and simulation software (such as STK, MATLAB, ADS, HFSS, CST)
- Familiarity with systems engineering methodologies and constraints associated with space missions
- Experience with inter-satellite links, advanced modulation/coding techniques, or phased array antenna systems
- Understanding of space communications standards, spectrum coordination, and spacecraft integration/testing
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams in designing and developing RF systems for satellite and space applications
- Conduct testing and integration of RF solutions to ensure reliability for mission-critical tasks
- Analyze and simulate antenna systems to meet specific performance and environmental standards
- Leverage RF modeling tools to enhance system design and efficiency
- Address technical challenges and provide innovative solutions in RF communications
- Maintain awareness of technological advancements and apply best practices in RF engineering
