Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering position within the Engineering sector
- Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) or an equivalent qualification is highly preferred
- Proficient in ISO standards, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and internal audit procedures
- Proven experience in conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective measures
- Strong project management abilities, with experience leading and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating effectively in team settings
- Proficient in quality management software and MS Office Suite
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement quality engineering projects and continuous improvement strategies
- Develop, execute, and sustain quality management systems in accordance with ISO standards
- Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with established quality benchmarks and regulatory guidelines
- Carry out root cause analyses and apply corrective actions to avert recurrence of deficiencies
- Utilize APQP and PPAP methodologies to aid in the development and launch of new products
- Facilitate FMEA discussions to pinpoint potential risks and formulate mitigation plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve quality goals throughout the product lifecycle
- Provide technical mentorship and training to the quality engineering team
- Compile and deliver quality reports to senior management
