Requirements
Must:
- We require an active North Carolina license.
- We need an NP or PA with recent inpatient experience within the last 12 months.
- We prefer candidates with hospitalist experience in an inpatient-only setting.
- We are looking for a clinician comfortable with 12-hour shifts across days, evenings, and nights.
- We need someone who can manage admissions, consults, and co-management for ED holds and admitted patients.
- We expect the provider to handle a patient volume of about 8 to 10 per day.
- We are seeking a candidate who does not require critical care duties or code response coverage.
Responsibilities
- We will have you manage admissions, consults, and co-management for emergency department holds and admitted patients.
- We will rely on you to care for approximately 8 to 10 patients per day.
- We will schedule you for 12-hour shifts that may include 7 PM to 7 AM, 7 AM to 7 PM, or 2 PM to 10 PM.
- We will place you in an inpatient-only role with no critical care responsibilities.
- We will not expect you to respond to codes or serve as ED backup.
- We will connect you with assignments that align with your preferences and lifestyle.
