Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience in a large multi-office law firm is essential
- Over 7 years of IT infrastructure expertise, with a minimum of 5 years concentrating on Exchange administration and Microsoft 365 messaging in a mid- to large-sized enterprise
- Extensive experience managing Exchange Online and Exchange Server in hybrid setups, including cross-version upgrades and complex mail flow scenarios
- Proven track record in leading Exchange migrations from on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online; familiarity with tenant-to-tenant or multi-organization Microsoft 365 migrations is highly desirable
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting and practical use of Microsoft Graph to automate and oversee Exchange Online and related Microsoft 365 messaging tasks and workflows
- Background in administering and supporting Mimecast or a comparable email security platform, including managing email hygiene controls like DKIM, DMARC, and SPF
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 integration and migration tools and practices, such as Azure AD Connect and hybrid Exchange configurations
- Demonstrated capability in diagnosing intricate messaging and client issues from start to finish, including mail flow, connectivity, and client performance, while implementing effective solutions
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a dependable, secure, and scalable Microsoft 365 messaging environment
- Focus primarily on Exchange Online, ensuring its availability, security, compliance, and performance within a hybrid, multi-office setup
- Serve as the technical lead for Microsoft 365 messaging services, guiding the team and providing expertise
- Troubleshoot and resolve challenging messaging and client issues, ensuring effective mail flow and connectivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize messaging services and support ongoing initiatives
