Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field
- Over 7 years of experience in hardware validation, test engineering, or RF systems testing
- Proficient in designing, testing, and troubleshooting RF PCBAs, with a solid grasp of electronic reliability and failure mechanisms
- Familiarity with test equipment including oscilloscopes, VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators for verification of RF products
- Strong skills in programming languages such as Python and C/C++ for data analysis and test automation
- Proven track record in root cause failure analysis and implementing corrective actions in RF systems
- In-depth understanding of metrology, measurement errors, and uncertainty analysis
- Experience in environmental testing, including thermal, vibration, and TVAC
- Ability to work cross-functionally and independently
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Capability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Enthusiastic about developing cutting-edge hardware systems
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement rigorous testing protocols for RF and mixed-signal hardware
- Analyze test data to pinpoint failure modes and conduct root-cause investigations
- Enhance methods to improve system resilience under space conditions
- Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies, automation, and industry best practices
- Offer technical guidance and elevate standards for test engineering within our team
- Collaborate with various teams including hardware, software, and mechanical to ensure reliability from design through manufacturing and into orbit
