Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Direct Digital Controls (DDC)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC control sequences
- Familiarity with integration protocols like BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks
- Proficient in commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting systems
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, control schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Excellent communication skills and experience in customer-facing roles
- Leadership experience for training and mentoring junior staff
- Preferred: Niagara N4 certification or similar BAS credentials
- Preferred: Experience with energy dashboards or advanced graphics
- Preferred: Knowledge of safety regulations and practices (OSHA/NFPA)
Responsibilities
- Program, configure, and commission BAS and control systems, ideally with Siemens or similar platforms
- Oversee system integrations related to HVAC, lighting, access control, and dashboards
- Diagnose and resolve intricate DDC control issues
- Create and implement graphics, dashboards, and reports for end users
- Mentor junior technicians and provide guidance to project teams
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project quality
- Deliver customer training and offer technical support
