Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing, packaging, or food production setting
- Strong grasp of electrical theory, schematics, blueprints, and control systems
- Practical knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) with basic troubleshooting and programming skills preferred
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools (multimeters, meggers, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Ability to work autonomously and promptly address urgent maintenance concerns
- Willingness to work all shifts and on weekends
Responsibilities
- Install, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and components for production and facility operations
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, devices, and components using testing equipment and tools to determine the cause of failures
- Carry out preventive maintenance and reliability assessments on motors, drives, conveyors, and other automated machinery
- Support PLC-controlled systems by identifying and resolving electrical problems, ideally with basic programming or editing experience
- Work together with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to reduce downtime and boost equipment efficiency
- Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and electrical standards (NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E)
- Keep precise records for maintenance tasks, wiring diagrams, and equipment modifications
- Assist with facility-related electrical tasks, including lighting, power distribution, and infrastructure support
