Requirements
Must:
- PhD preferred in Econometrics, Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, or a related field
- 10-15 years of experience in data science, econometrics, or advanced analytics
- Familiarity with US Healthcare and Clinical Asset Management
- Strong expertise in econometrics, statistical modeling, and economic analysis
- Proven experience in leading strategic initiatives, not just analytical projects
- Experience collaborating with finance leaders (CFOs, finance teams) on budgeting and planning
- Technical proficiency with hands-on engineering and ability to engage with data and models personally
- Experience in healthcare or healthtech (preferred but not essential)
- Background in asset-intensive industries and prior consulting experience (a plus)
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced econometrics and financial modeling to deliver insights
- Implement full-stack AI/ML solutions from research to production
- Exercise strategic judgment regarding model architectures and associated trade-offs
- Write production-grade code with hands-on engineering skills
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the Chief Data Officer
- Translate intricate data sets into strategic insights that inform decision-making
- Support budget planning and financial strategies based on thorough analysis
