Requirements
Must:
- PhD preferred in Econometrics, Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
- 10-15 years of experience in data science, econometrics, or advanced analytics
- Strong background in econometric methods, statistical modeling, and economic analysis
- Proven track record of working on strategic initiatives beyond mere analysis
- Experience collaborating with finance executives (CFOs, finance teams) on budgeting and planning
- Hands-on engineering skills with the ability to work directly with data and models
- (Nice to Have) Exposure to healthcare or healthtech sectors
- (Nice to Have) Experience in asset-intensive industries
- (Nice to Have) Prior consulting experience
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced econometrics and financial modeling methodologies
- Develop full-stack AI/ML solutions from research to production
- Exercise strategic judgment regarding model architectures and their trade-offs
- Write and maintain production-grade code as part of hands-on engineering tasks
- Collaborate with senior leadership, including the Chief Data Officer, to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Support budget planning and financial decision-making processes
- Take deep analytical projects from concept through to deployment
