Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity-focused position
- Proficiency in C# and Python, along with a solid understanding of SOC2, ISO27001, OWASP, threat modeling, and DAST
- Preferred certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Significant experience in developing and executing cybersecurity strategies
- In-depth knowledge of current cybersecurity trends, technologies, and risks
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to perform under pressure
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- High attention to detail and solid organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and sustain the companys cybersecurity strategy, policies, and procedures to safeguard our computer networks and systems
- Conduct regular testing of systems and maintain ongoing monitoring of network security
- Formulate strategies to manage security incidents and coordinate efforts to protect sensitive data and systems from breaches and cyber threats
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing utilizing a variety of tools and techniques
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats; devise strategies to counter potential vulnerabilities
- Offer technical expertise on IT initiatives, including the assessment and recommendation of technical controls
- Create and implement SOC2 and ISO27001 compliant processes
- Collaborate with various departments to secure the organizations data and technological infrastructure
- Lead threat modeling exercises and establish robust DAST practices
- Develop and facilitate cybersecurity training programs for all employees
