Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in designing and managing AWS cloud services, including expertise in EKS, Fargate, MQ, RDS, and Redshift
- Proficient with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the capacity to solve complex problems
- Strong communication abilities and proficiency in collaborative team environments
- Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or eligible for permanent work in the US
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS technology
- Collaborate with the Platform Architecture team to optimize cloud environments and enhance performance and security
- Analyze, design, and implement frameworks and infrastructure that align with application, platform, and system requirements
- Work closely with software, site reliability, security, and other engineering teams to ensure infrastructure meets standards of security, scalability, reliability, and availability
- Report directly to the Senior Director of Platform Architecture regarding cloud strategies and execution
