Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related field required, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
- If lacking a bachelors degree, a minimum of 9 years of relevant business experience is necessary
- At least 5 years of pertinent business experience
- 3 years of experience in an IS healthcare environment
- Extensive CCL experience is essential
- Proficient in Discern/PowerInsight
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Cerner Data Modeling
- Consulting or Project Management experience preferred
- Experience with stakeholder management and support of clinical workflows is prioritized
- Familiarity with CCL, DA2, Discern/PowerInsight Administration, Cerner Millennium, Discern, Tableau, Custom mPage builds, SQL, Olympus required
- Bonus: Experience with Soarian Reporting, HealtheAnalytics, and clinical workflows is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex projects involving departmental applications and reporting issues related to Cerner CCL customization
- Analyze and define business requirements to aid in solution development and implementation
- Address day-to-day system performance, data, and architecture issues
- Plan and participate in system installations and upgrades
- Provide training and conduct work reviews for junior staff members
- Collaborate with external vendors, system owners, community partners, and departmental leadership
- Identify and document IT design specifications based on user needs assessments
- Generate gap analyses to address system requirements
- Design and develop custom and non-standard reports, including CCL reports
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and enhancement requests with professionalism
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives and proactive business transformations
- Manage project goals, milestones, and progress reporting
- Facilitate team meetings and lead small to medium project initiatives
- Train new staff members on necessary systems and applications
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities and perform additional tasks as needed
