Requirements
Must:
- 5-7 years of experience in business or data analysis
- Background in payments, fintech, SaaS, or e-commerce preferred
- Strong experience working with large transactional datasets
- Experience collaborating with Data Engineering and Architecture teams
- Proficiency in SQL and data warehouse environments (Redshift preferred)
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
Responsibilities
- Analyze extensive transactional datasets to uncover trends, performance gaps, and optimization opportunities
- Develop key performance indicator reports including processing volumes, margins, pricing, customer penetration, and costs
- Conduct root cause analysis on anomalies and emerging trends
- Provide data-driven suggestions to enhance payment performance and transparency
- Build and maintain dashboards and executive-level reporting
- Ensure consistency and integrity of payment data across various systems
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to clarify data models, tracking, and metric definitions
- Support reconciliation and cost analysis initiatives
- Translate business needs into data and reporting requirements
- Partner with Product and Engineering to guarantee accurate data capture
- Support new payment initiatives from an analytics and reporting perspective
- Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
