Requirements
Must:
- 7-10+ years of experience in high-availability network settings, preferably in broadcasting or telecommunications
- Proficient in firewall management and switching technologies (Juniper, Arista, etc.)
- Familiarity with enterprise systems including VMware, Active Directory, and Windows Server
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure, O365)
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP are favorable
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust Spine-Leaf network architectures and traffic segmentation strategies (VLAN/VRF)
- Manage and secure network environments with enterprise firewall and endpoint protection solutions within a zero-trust model
- Lead the configuration and optimization of switching systems with an emphasis on efficient video delivery and precise time synchronization (PTP)
- Construct and deploy end-to-end networks, including physical setups (rack and cabling) and logical configurations (VPNs, QoS, load balancing)
- Act as a Tier-3 escalation point for complex outages, utilizing deep packet inspection and advanced troubleshooting techniques
- Create documentation and standard operating procedures to promote scalability and sustainable infrastructure health
- Collaborate across engineering teams to support and optimize streaming protocols (SRT/RTMP) and broadcast workflows
