Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant experience - 2-5 years of professional experience in full-stack application development - At least 2 years of experience in front-end web development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Familiarity with frameworks such as Vue, Angular, or React - Minimum of 2 years of experience with web frameworks like Rails, Laravel, Django, Express, Ember, or Backbone - Exposure to cloud infrastructure and relational databases in a production setting - Experience with CI/CD, Docker, or similar tools - A unique perspective or quirky personality that adds value to our team - Previous experience as a project/tech lead, mentoring junior engineers - 4-5 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining web applications, focusing on both the front-end and back-end - 2-3 years with Vue, Angular, or React - Proven ability to build, scale, and optimize cloud infrastructure and relational databases, preferably using AWS services like ECS, EC2, ECR, S3, RDS, and Route53 - 2+ years of experience with CI/CD, Docker, or similar tools - Capacity to thrive in an agile environment prioritizing continuous integration and development - Strong understanding of security principles relevant to e-commerce applications

Responsibilities

- Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude - Develop software using Ruby and JavaScript, and show willingness to learn about our AWS infrastructure - Continuously learn Ruby and Rails - Assist in delivering high-quality software consistently - Tackle bugs and contribute to substantial projects - Help design and implement high-traffic applications using Ruby on Rails - Transition monolithic Plain Old Ruby code to well-organized Ruby on Rails code - Design and develop innovative systems from the ground up - Adopt a growth mindset, embracing learning and improvement
