Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience or equivalent education and/or experience
- Strong ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Service-oriented mindset
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and treat colleagues respectfully
- Experience in leading and developing team members
- Background in the meat processing sector is a plus, but not mandatory
- Capable of achieving forklift and pallet jack certification
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet defined goals
- Prepare accurate documentation related to production, shipping, receiving, safety, and sanitation
- Lead employee training and development efforts, fostering a supportive environment
- Organize production processes efficiently
- Ensure product quality aligns with established specifications and standards for shipping and manufacturing
- Assume job responsibilities of absent staff as necessary
- Champion a culture focused on safety across the workplace
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures
- Comply with the companys attendance regulations
