Requirements
Must:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Illinois Bar
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Attorney, Transactional Attorney, or Real Estate Attorney, specifically in telecom law
- Demonstrated experience in wireless facilities, lease negotiations, and master lease agreements
- Strong legal research and writing capabilities
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- High level of professional ethics and integrity
- Sound judgment and analytic skills
- Familiarity with current telecom laws and regulations
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements related to telecom, including those for wireless facilities and lease agreements
- Offer legal counsel on all aspects of telecom law, covering regulatory compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution
- Work with diverse departments to identify potential legal challenges and create strategic solutions
- Keep updated on changes in telecom law and regulations, providing necessary training to relevant teams
- Represent the company in legal proceedings when required
- Aid in the formulation and execution of company policies and procedures to guarantee legal compliance in all telecom operations
- Collaborate with external counsel as needed to effectively manage legal risks and achieve optimal legal results for the company
