Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the telecommunications sector
- Demonstrated expertise in Quality Control, Operations Management, Quality Assurance, FTTH, FTTB
- Strong leadership and team management abilities with a successful history of guiding a quality engineering team
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry regulations and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in quality management software and tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven mindset
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee a team of quality engineers, promoting a culture of ongoing improvement and creativity
- Develop and execute quality control protocols to guarantee superior quality in fiber engineering projects
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with quality standards at all phases of the fiber engineering cycle
- Manage the operations of fiber engineering initiatives, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion
- Conduct audits and assessments regularly to pinpoint areas for enhancement and initiate corrective measures
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and compliance standards
- Work with senior management to establish quality objectives and benchmarks
- Provide technical expertise and support to the quality engineering team
- Track and report on the efficacy of the quality control system, producing performance data and reports aligned with established standards
- Coordinate with other managers and team members to maintain the quality management systems functionality
- Offer advice on modifications and assist with training, tools, and techniques to empower others in achieving quality goals
